Geelong's Community Bank® companies and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank have contributed more than $60,000 towards the Geelong Performing Art Centre’s Take Over program.
The program provides secondary students in the Geelong region with the opportunity to learn about all areas of theatre production including performance, sound, lighting and stage management.
Students are encouraged to produce and perform their own work, which is showcased at a public performance.
The program has had a positive affect on its participants, with many students revealing the program boosted their confidence and gave them the courage to pursue careers in the industry.
